Curriculum Reports Overview

Curriculum-related reports live in several areas of the Elentra platform. You can access and view curriculum-related reports in the following places:

Curriculum Tools: In the Curriculum main menu, you can access Curriculum Search, Curriculum Explorer, and the Curriculum Matrix.
System Reports: Also accessible via the Curriculum main menu (For Medtech: and Staff:Admins) by navigating to Curriculum Reports, or by navigating to Admin> System Reports.
Analytics Reports: In the Elentra Analytics Curriculum Reports folder unless otherwise noted.
Other areas as noted

Curriculum tags can be applied to many types of Elentra content. The article sections below denote all the reports related to the titular topic, regardless of where these reports are accessed.

Curriculum Tag Structure

To view the structure of your curricular tag sets as they relate to each other, try the following report:

Curriculum Tag Mapping Report: A report showing the relationship between tags in the different tag sets in either up or down mapping direction. This is available in Admin> System Reports. For full details, see the Knowledge Base article here.

Curriculum Tags & Courses

To view the structure of your curricular tag sets as they relate to courses, try the following reports:

Curriculum Matrix: The Curriculum Matrix is available to all users by default and provides a quick visual and numerical inventory of where curriculum tags are assigned to courses. More details are available here.

Course Objectives by Events Tagged (COBET): A report containing a list of curriculum tags assigned to a course and an indication of whether they were also assigned to events in the course. This report is available in Admin> System Reports. More details are available here.

Curriculum Tags & Learning Events

Curriculum Explorer: The Curriculum Explorer is available to all users by default and allows you to filter by curriculum tag set, course, cohort, mapping relationship and academic year, in order to see where a specific curriculum tag has been applied to a course, learning event, or gradebook assessment. This is available to all users via the Curriculum main menu. More details are available here.

Curriculum Search: Curriculum Search tool is available to all users by default, through the Curriculum main menu. It uses Boolean search terms to look for content within learning events. It searches event titles, event descriptions, and curriculum tag names. More details are available here.

Manage Events Export: From Manage Events, administrators can download a CSV of events with details on the curriculum tags applied to those events. To download this data, navigate to Admin> Manage Events. You must be in List View (not Calendar View). Use the filters and display settings to return the list of events. From the bottom of the page, use the "Export Options" menu to select "Export Events (multiple rows per objective tagged)". A menu will appear where you can select which fields to export; be sure to include Curriculum Tags and/or Curriculum Tag Descriptions. Click on "Export" to export a CSV file of events. Each row in the report will be an event an applied curricular tag; as such, some events will be duplicated (one row for each curricular tag that has been applied to the event).

Curriculum Tag Minutes and Mapping Report: A report showing the total Learning Event minutes and mappings grouped by Tags within selected Tag Sets. This report is available in Admin> System Reports. More details available here.

Curriculum Review Report: This report displays the event title and description, free-text objectives, curriculum tags directly mapped to an event, and curriculum tags indirectly mapped to an event (either contextually or through organization-level mappings). This report is available in Admin> System Reports. More details are available here.

Learning Events by Course Missing Objectives: This report contains a list of all learning events in a Course that do not have objectives attached to them. This report is available in Admin> System Reports. More details available here.

Event Linked Objectives: This report provides a summary of learning events, their dates, course affiliations, and the direct and indirect learning objectives associated with them. It is available in Elentra Analytics in the Curriculum Reports Folder.

Event Missing Objectives (By Course): This report provides a concise overview of learning events within a course, highlighting those that lack associated objectives and distinguishing between tagged and untagged events for easy reference. It is available in Elentra Analytics in the Curriculum Reports Folder.

Curriculum Tags & Gradebook Assessments

Assessment Summary Report: This report provides an overview of all assessments entered into a course gradebook for a specific cohort. This report is available in Admin> System Reports. More details here.

Assessment Objective Summary: This report provides a table showing assessments, their descriptions, and the curriculum tags associated with those assessments for a defined course and curriculum period. This report is available in Admin> System Reports, and a similar report is available in Elentra Analytics in the Curriculum Reports folder. More details on the System Report version here.

Student Competency by Curriculum Tag Report: A report to show the gradebook assessments for each student that are tagged with an objective within a selected curriculum tag set. This report is available in Admin> System Reports and a similar report is available in Elentra Analytics in the Curriculum Reports folder. More details on the System Report version here.

Assessments without Tagged Objectives: This report shows course gradebook assessments that have not been tagged with any curriculum tags. This report is available in Admin> System Reports.

Curriculum Tags & Exams

Curriculum Tags Report: This is an on-screen report (no download available) that allows the user to view student performance by curriculum tag (for tags applied to questions on the exam). This report is available in the Manage Exams module, on the Reports tab for the exam.

Summary Performance Report: This is an on-screen report (no download available) that allows the user to report on exam performance, curriculum tag performance, the lowest 27% of learners, and item analysis. This report is available in the Manage Exams module, on the Reports tab for the exam. More details here.

Exam Learner Objective Performance: This report shows the learner performance and average performance per objective. One student is displayed per page of the report. This report is available in the Elentra Analytics Exam Reports Folder.

Exam Learner Objective Performance by Item: This report shows learner and objective average performance organized by exam item and learner. This report is available in the Elentra Analytics Exam Reports Folder.

Exam Learner Objective Performance by Post: This report shows learner and objective average performance organized by post and learner. This report is available in the Elentra Analytics Exam Reports Folder.

Exam Scores by Objectives: Displays a radar chart and table of class average scores by curriculum tags associated with questions. This report is available in the Elentra Analytics Exam Reports Folder.
