Release 23.12.19

December 19th, 2023 Elentra Releases

Fixes:

Release to production effective December 19th, 2023.

Notes are now able to be saved in Manage Instructors when there are more than 35 characters

Previously, when attempting to add notes for instructors and the note had more than 35 characters inputted, the note was unable to be saved. Now, the character limit has been increased to 65,000 to allow for notes for instructors to be saved without any issues.

Gradebook weighted total calculations are now calculating correctly with N/A child assessments

Previously, there was a bug interfering with the correct calculation of the gradebook’s weighted total calculation in the event that there were N/A child assessments associated with the gradebook. Now, this has been fixed and these instances will be excluded from the total calculation, as expected, and the proper weighted total will be calculated.

Grades are now retrieving from distributions linked to the Gradebook after the assessment was already completed

Previously, assessments that were being pulled into gradebook assessments from distributions were not being reflected in the gradebook if the assessments were completed before the distribution was attached to the gradebook. Now, the already completed assessment grades will display in the gradebook if they were completed prior to the distribution being attached to the gradebook, as expected.

Fixed the date’s displayed on Gradebook linked assessment form

Previously when attaching an assessment form to a Gradebook via distribution for a rotation schedule based distribution, the displayed date range was incorrect upon viewing it. Now, this has been fixed and the date range will display as the curriculum period’s start and end date, as expected. A label has also been added to specify the curriculum period's dates. For date ranged based distributions, it will display the date range of the distribution.

Fixed a spelling error in the Gradebook linked assessment form

Previously when attaching an assessment form to a Gradebook via distribution, there was a spelling error incorrectly spelling the word “distribution” after viewing the assessment afterwards. Now, this has been fixed and the word “distribution” is spelled correctly.
