December 17th, 2024 Elentra Releases
Release to Production effective December 17th, 2024.
Attendance Tracking Enhancements
- When learners submit an absence request, they will be marked absent for the event(s) after the request has been approved. Previously, learners were marked absent immediately upon submission of their request, regardless of approval status.
- Absence requests will now be marked as "Absent via Interface" once approved.
- The "Mark All as Attended" button in Learning Events now updates attendance statuses instantly, eliminating the need for a manual page refresh. Previously, the changes would not reflect until the page was refreshed.
Matching Question in Exams Improvements
- Highlighting Functionality: Highlighting text in matching-type exam questions now works as intended. Previously, the highlight function caused the text to disappear and an error to display.
- Learner Responses Report: The Learner Responses Report for matching question exams now exports detailed data, including the stem titles and selected answers. This update replaces coded responses with clear, readable information.
PDF Content Display in Portfolios: Previously, PDFs opened in Manage Portfolios appeared blank when opened, even though uploaded document(s) contained content. This issue has been resolved, and PDFs now load and display their content as expected.
Faculty Reports Date Range Filtering: The Faculty Reports (Overview, Aggregated) now use the "Delivery Date" parameter for the date range filtering instead of "Completion Date" parameter. This change ensures report data aligns with intended task delivery dates.
A&E Evaluation Report Average: Calculations in the Course Evaluation, Distribution Reviewer, and Faculty Reports (Individual, Aggregated) now exclude N/A responses from the calculator of averages percentages and dynamically adjust based on the number of valid responses. Previously, if N/A responses were enabled in a question, averages displayed as 0% across all data points.
Improved Navigation for Multi-Organization Users: Support for page redirects has been added to distribution links. Previously, accessing a distribution link while inside an organization not associated with the distribution would show the distribution to the user but keep them from editing it, creating a confusing user experience. Now, when a link is clicked while in a different organization than where the distribution link was created, the system will automatically redirect the user to the correct organization so they can successfully edit the distribution.
Deleted Assessment Tasks in Retired Distributions: An issue where deleted assessment tasks in retired distributions continued to appear as available has been resolved. Now, when an assessment task is deleted after a distribution is retired, it correctly labels the task as deleted within the retired distribution.
