Overview of Instructors

Instructors is a module designed to contain more information about your faculty members than the standard user profile provides. Content can be hidden or displayed to students, allowing your learners more insight into faculty members they may work with. The Instructors module may be useful if you want to:

  • Store additional contact records for administrative assistants or other contacts related to an instructor.
  • Tag instructors with curriculum tags to display relevant keywords/ topics to students about the instructor.
  • Link instructors to Sites created within Elentra's Locations module. See the Knowledge Base articles here.
  • Record & store agreements your organization has with the instructor. 
  • Record & optionally display notes about instructors to learners, or internal administrative users only. 
  • Store files related to instructors within Elentra.

Create Instructors & Add Content to Instructor Profiles:

Medtech: Admin

Staff: Admin

View Instructor profile content:

Student:Student

Pre-Conditions

In order to use all features of the Instructors module, these components will need to be built within Elentra:

  • Users assigned to any of the Faculty group roles.
    • Clinical Instructor must be checked off in order for the user to be automatically created as an Instructor.
