Release 10.06.26
Elentra Production Release Effective October 6, 2026
This release brings improvements across Gradebook, Assessments, the Dashboard Calendar, and Communities to make everyday workflows smoother and information easier to access. Updates include streamlined submission downloads and assessment form saving, improved calendar readability, easier access to newly created Community Events, and a new option to give learners greater visibility into the status of completed assessment tasks.
We’re also sharing an upcoming API enhancement that will allow institutions to access course and event files through the Elentra API.
Gradebook Dropbox: Download all Submissions
The "Download All Submissions" action in Gradebook Dropbox would periodically time out when downloading a full cohort of learner submissions. In cases with large submission volumes, the download no longer ends with a time-out error.
Thank you to University of British Columbia for their observations and valuable feedback, which helped inform this enhancement.
Dashboard Calendar: See Your Full Day at a Glance💡
The Dashboard Calendar now gives each hour more vertical space in the day and week views, so event titles and details are easy to read even on your busiest days. Users can scan their schedule and know exactly what's coming up.
💡Thank you to University of British Columbia for submitting the Increase vertical space per hour in Dashboard Calendar to improve event readability idea through our Ideas Portal and helping shape this enhancement.
Many of our enhancements begin with ideas from our community. If you have a suggestion, submit it through our Ideas Portal, we'd love to hear from you!
Gradebook: Save Numeric Assessment Items Consistently
Graders were periodically prevented from saving assessment forms in Gradebooks when those forms included Numeric form items. Numeric values entered by graders now save consistently, and the form no longer incorrectly reports that each item requires a selection.
Thank you to University of Arizona and Texas Tech University, Health Sciences Centre, El Paso for their observations and valuable feedback, which helped inform this enhancement.
Community Events: Open Newly Created Events
Newly created Community Events were not consistently opening from the Community Events page immediately after being added. New events now open correctly, allowing you to view their details right after they're created.
Thank you to Universidad Central del Caribe for their observations and valuable feedback, which helped inform this enhancement.
Completed Task Cards for Unreleased Tasks
Learners can now see that an assessment task has been completed on them, even when the distribution holds back the completed task. With a new optional setting turned on, a card for the completed task appears on the learner's Tasks Completed on Me tab, and the View Task button stays hidden until an administrator releases the task.
- Optional, set per distribution: administrators turn on Show a task card on the target's "Tasks Completed on Me" tab while hidden setting in the target release settings when targets cannot view tasks completed on them.
- Status without the content: the card within the learner view confirms the task is complete without showing the assessor's responses or other task details.
💡Thank you to National University of Singapore for submitting the Completed Task Cards for Unreleased Tasks idea through our Ideas Portal and helping shape this enhancement.

Coming Soon
Get Your Course and Event Files Through the Elentra API
Soon your technical team will be able to get the files attached to your courses and learning events directly through the Elentra API. You can then use them in the other systems your school relies on, such as AI study tools, data warehouses and other learning platforms. That means no more downloading files one by one or uploading them twice. Faculty keep managing files in Elentra, and your other tools stay current.
We'll share setup details and documentation in an upcoming release. If your school is interested in being one of the first to use it, let your Elentra Account Manager know!
If you have any questions about the above-listed information, please contact support@elentra.com. If you see a feature that is not currently being used within your instance of Elentra and are interested in learning more about it, please contact your Elentra Account Manager for more information.
